About The Clubs

Lions Club of Kuching Centennial
Before we recorded a total of 31 Lions members in 2021, Lions Club of Kuching Centennial was chartered by the Charter President, Bernard Lee together with 18 charter members on 12th December 2017, as the centennial clubs in Multiple District 308-A2, Region 1, here in Kuching, Sarawak. The members of different backgrounds and professions utilized their specialists and ignited a lot of creative ways to serve the community.

The Club Logo
The HANDS is the "tool of tools". It symbolises strength, power and protection, it can just as easily mean generosity, hospitality and stability. We lend our hands, "We Serve" those who needs our help.

The TREE symbolises the strength, stability and structure of the trunk, standing firm and withstanding the greatest of challenges. Green colour, likes the leaves on the branches symbolises nature, fertility, and life. It also represents balance, learning, growth and harmony.

The LION HEART symbolises we serve with a heart of gold - kind and thoughtful

PURPLE is the colour of humanitarians who likes to do something good for others. The combination of wisdom and power combined with sensitivity and humility, makes purple capable of helping those in need.

Leo Club of UCSI University
Besides serving the community, the Club also sees the importance of empowering youth's development too. Therefore, Lions Club of Kuching Centennial began to adopt Leo Program by sponsoring the Leo Club of UCSI University (Sarawak Campus) at the same year the Club is chartered. The Leo members made up of students from the UCSI University are energetic and vibrant. They are eager to explore how their growth as youths can make meaningful impacts on the community.

The Club Logo
The CROWN symbolises social responsibility, strength to support and growth of the Members.

The LION HEAD symbolises contemporary, dynamic and purity.

The TRIANGULAR SHAPES represent contemporary thinking in merging everyone's uniqune strength to form a united team.

The GOLDEN LINES demonstrated the dynamic energy and creativity within the youths.

The WHITE COLOUR base represent the root of everything, serving with a pure heart.

With collaboration to Blood Bank, the Blood Donation Drive aims to receive 120 successful blood donation
